Industry Specific ComplianceThe Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on August 19, 2026, has informed Trading Members about the Contingency Pool Facility, which enables members to trade from the Exchange premises or designated regional centres during emergencies such as technical failures, network disruptions or local power outages affecting their own connectivity.

Members must submit a formal request on their letterhead to the Customer Service & Quality Department, following which access will be allotted on a first-come, first-served basis and will be valid only for the specific trading day requested.

The primary facility for Maharashtra is located at MCX Exchange Square, Chakala, Andheri (East), Mumbai. A maximum of two persons per member may access the facility at any time, subject to verification of original government-issued photo ID. Further, only the person to whom the relevant User ID is assigned may use the trading terminal; sharing or use of the User ID by any other person is strictly prohibited.
